- but once you learn how to teach, most dogs can learn to respond, cooperate and communicate with you.  Even old dogs can learn new tricks!

Using pet-friendly, science based techniques, I can help you learn how to improve your dog's manners, eliminate some common problem behaviors and develop teamwork so you can enjoy dog sports, pet therapy and other activities with your educated canine.

Due to my husband's illness I will not be giving any private or group lessons during winter 2011-2012 or in spring 2012.  Please use the trainer search at the Association of Pet Dog Trainers or the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers to find a qualified trainer.  Be sure to ask about their training philosophy and techniques so you will be  working with someone who employs pet-friendly, science based training.
