Teach Your Pet

Group Classes

Most dogs benefit from training in a group - and it's the most economical way to get your foundation training started and to learn the basics of most dog sports.  My group classes are offered through

I typically offer classes for

• STAR Puppy Training
• Basic Obedience
• Advanced Puppy - Self Control and Presport Skills
• Intermediate Obedience - Canine Good Citizen
• Intro-Advanced Rally Obedience Skills

Due to my husband's illness I will not be teaching any group classes during winter of 2011-2012 or spring 2012.  Please consider taking classes with my counterpart at Pawsitive, Kirstin Allan.

Private Lessons

Due to my husband's illness I will not be giving any private lessons during winter 2011-2012 or in spring 2012.  Please use the trainer search at the Association of Pet Dog Trainers or the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers to find a qualified trainer.  Be sure to ask about their training philosophy and techniques so you know you're working with someone who employs positive and science based training.

Behavior consultations

Due to my husband's illness I will not be able to provide private behavior consulations during winter 2011-2012 or in spring 2012.  Please use the trainer search at the Association of Pet Dog Trainers or the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers to find a qualified trainer.  Ask up front about their behavior modification experience, philosophy and tools so you can be sure you're working with someone who understands dog behavior and employs positive and science based techniques.

Therapy dogs
